F1 Grand Prix, Montréal
The sporting moment series takes elite sporting achievements and immortalises them in a screen printed data graph.
Each piece processes data with an
aesthetic relevant to the event. Within Paula Radcliffe’s Women’s marathon record, it’s possible to pick out the route
of the London marathon. Lewis Hamilton’s first Grand Prix win in Montréal is
reminiscent of changing gears, and
Tiger Wood’s classic victory against Rocco Mediate in the US Open has the look of
a hole on a putting green, all the while showing the data within the performance.
A three colour silk screen print consisting of gold and silver ink with a gloss varnish onto Arjowiggins Curious Skin.
Printed in an edition of 75,
signed and numbered.
