Hours of Light 2014
Based purely on data, this artwork represents the total hours of light for 2014.
Concentric circles represent calendar months, with January on the outside and December in the central core. Within this framework, the total hours of light on each day is shown through thickness of line, varying incrementally per accumulated minute. The wider gloss segment surrounding each stroke represents a full 24 hour day, revealing a visual proportion of daylight.
